Sarah Hutchinson is an experienced designer passionate about talking to people about their challenges to bring more relevance to her designs. She believes evidence based User Experience (UX) design is strong force for change which can help find better systems for essential services. It’s very important to her to use her design skills to directly benefit society.

She’s experienced at working in the tech startup world: building web apps, leading a diverse team through the UX design process and knowing when to pivot or iterate. She spent two years at Mindiply in London designing high quality professional apps, interviewing over 50 people for user research and learning what it is to make a lean MVP - a Minimum Viable Prototype approached through the lean startup methodology.

She thinks through problems herself and is happy to take the lead on a new strategy that will help the team. She listens carefully and works hard to ensure the entire team is on board. She brings a lot of energy to any team by being cheerful, sociable and dynamic. In particular she loves being part of a strong community of designers, giving and receiving feedback.
